If this happened after uninstalling the footpad on your board, be sure to go back over what you unplugged and ensure things are in their right slots. The yellow footpad cable is meant to be installed into the yellow highlighted slot and the motor cable is next to it in a black outlined slot, shown below on a Onewheel+XR.
If the motor is ever physically stopped from rotating but the board is engaged and angled in a way it will try to accelerate, it can cause this error to occur after a few seconds. The board will disengage and the error will present itself. This will only happen if the front of the board is being pushed into something solid like a wall or piece of furniture, or the motor is stuck on anything that is not allowing it to spin like a steep curb or a deep pothole it cannot get past. A power cycle should fix this issue.
