Onewheels are water resistant not waterproof. Try to minimize riding in wet conditions, as water can enter the board's internals and cause damage. Any direct or pressured contact with water and the Onewheel could possibly damage the board.
DO NOT hose down your board if it gets dirty. Avoid riding through large puddles or submerging the board in any way.
If you do get your Onewheel wet, we recommend toweling off your board immediately after riding and letting the board dry completely before charging. This is especially important as any combination of electric current and water can potentially damage your board's components.
Our engineers work incredibly hard to prepare the Onewheel to tackle all terrain, but it is important to keep in mind that your board is ultimately still an electronic device. At the end of the day, it is really up to each rider where and how they ride. Details on the warranty policy coverage regarding water can be found in the owner’s manual Pint and XR.
