Onewheels are water resistant not waterproof. With wet riding in particular, we suggest taking extra care to ensure any debris or water does not sit on the board, or enter the board’s internal components. Any direct or pressured contact with water and the Onewheel could possibly damage the board. We do not recommend hosing off your board, riding through large puddles or submerging the board in any way. If you do get your Onewheel wet, we recommend toweling off your board immediately after riding and letting the board dry completely before charging. This is especially important as any combination of electric current and water can potentially damage your board's components.
Our engineers work incredibly hard to prepare the Onewheel to tackle all terrain, but it is important to keep in mind that your board is ultimately still an electronic device. At the end of the day, it is really up to each rider where and how they ride. Details on the warranty policy coverage regarding water can be found in the owner’s manual Pint and XR.
